In association with the British Section Parent Teacher Group of the Lycée International Saint Germain en Laye we invite students from 6ème to Seconde to join our Performing Arts trip on the theme of ‘GREASE’ during the Toussaint Holiday.
Dates: Monday 28 October to Saturday 2 November
Show on the evening of Monday 4 November.
Accompanied travel is included in the fee as follows:
OUTBOUND: Monday 28th October. Students will meet at Gare Paris Montparnasse at 16.00. Students will take a direct train to Agen (3h15) with onward coach transfer to the Chateau.
RETURN: Saturday 2nd November arrival at at Gare Paris Montparnasse at 20.55.
What does it involve? A challenging and fun week with intensive workshops in music, drama and dance, culminating in the performance of a full-scale musical back in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Previous experience isn’t essential but lots of enthusiasm is a must!
There will be opportunities for solo, small group as well as ensemble work. We work on an ‘everyone does everything’ basis and each principal role is shared between several students. Maximum effort is made to ensure that everyone feels a valued member of the cast.
Location: Full board, lodging and rehearsal facilities are provided at the beautiful Château de Peyreguilhot, Lot et Garonne (47). Accompanied transport from Paris Montparnasse is included in the fee. This well-equipped château set in 27 hectares of parkland provides accommodation in en-suite rooms of 2 to 4 persons. Students are requested to bring sleeping bags and pillow cases.
Performance: The Show will be presented to parents and friends in Saint Germain-en-Laye on the evening of Monday 4th November. An after school dress rehearsal will precede the public performance starting at 8pm.
FEE: 595€ TTC Including travel (560€ for Siblings)
The trip is declared as a "‘Séjour de Vacances’ and regulated by the DDCSPP. Many Comités d’Entreprise contribute towards such trips so do consider asking yours! Chèques Vacances Accepted.
